I'm trying to think of a word for people who, while acknowledging that their country is in the midst of economic turmoil, ignore the warnings of the leading economists and do absolutely nothing to help. I open up the dictionary, and realize that it doesn't take long to find the word I'm looking for:
Of course, they won't like this word. They love to use it to attack their political opponents, but insist it doesn't apply to them.
I guess someone should give them a dictionary.
